Adrian has overall responsibility for the finance function of IM Properties and combines this with his role as Group Treasury Director for the wider IM Group. Since joining IM Properties in 2011, Adrian has completed over £1bn of financing transactions with various institutions across the UK, Continental Europe and the USA.
Jonathan is a Chartered Surveyor with 25 years’ experience working in all aspects of property development and development finance. He joined the organisation in 2010 to help establish Spitfire Bespoke Homes and in 2013 had overall responsibility for the acquisition, project management and disposal of MOD Ensleigh, Bath.
In 2015, Jonathan moved internally to IM Properties Plc to lead on a number of major projects including the promotion of a new settlement at Gaydon Lighthorne; a major mixed use scheme and new primary school at Watery Lane, Lichfield; and a hybrid planning application for 750 homes at Blythe Valley Park.
IM Land was launched in 2016 and Jonathan heads a dedicated team of strategic land, planning and technical specialists with a proven track record of planning promotion and project delivery. Jonathan has overall responsibility for sourcing, securing and promoting strategic land through Promotion Agreements, Options, Joint Ventures or Freehold acquisition.
Gary joined IM Properties in 2009 having been a Senior Real Estate Partner in BDO Stoy Hayward LLP and advisor to the IM Group for the past 20 years. Gary has a wealth of experience in the property industry and owner managed businesses. As well as being the CEO of the Property Group he sits on the main IM Group board.
Tim joined IM Properties in 1998 and was appointed Managing Director in 2009. Tim has a broad range of experience in Property Investment and Asset Management across the UK, Europe and USA and is responsible for the strategic growth of the business.
John joined IM Properties in June 2010 from CBRE and is responsible for the company's acquisition and disposal programme in the UK and the overall performance of the UK investment portfolio. Since joining, John has been involved in over £4bn of transactions across the retail, office, distribution, residential and hotel sectors.
Kevin has worked at IM Properties since 2000 and in 2009 was appointed as the UK Development Director. Kevin’s role includes overseeing the Commercial Development and IM Land teams at IM Properties. Kevin has been responsible for over 3m sq.ft. of development since 2009 comprising both pre-lets and speculative construction.
Jason is responsible for Project Delivery and Procurement for IM Properties. Having joined in 2010 Jason has been involved in numerous Developments (New Build & Refurbishments) within the Industrial and Commercial Sectors. Jason has managed the delivery of over 700,000 sq. ft of Offices, including out of town business parks and inner city prime grade A space. He has delivered over 4m sq ft of industrial development in the last 6 years including buildings for Euro Car Parts, BMW, Bunzl and John Lewis. Jason has overseen the design, planning and implementation of infrastructure and site servicing to over 1000+ acres of IM Properties' sites.
Simon joined IM Properties in June 2012 from Knight Frank and has been responsible for the acquisition and asset management of company's European investment portfolio and more recently the disinvestment of our €200m retail/office/logistics portfolio in France and Germany. Since joining, Simon is also responsbile for overseeing and advising on all Group occupational issues and activities. Simon is currently project managing IM's CPO claim and relocation to Solihull as a direct result of the of HS2 project.
Since joining IM Properties in January 2012 Rob has been involved with asset managing an extensive portfolio of UK properties, across the office, retail and industrial sectors. Rob is currently working on IM’s flagship asset Blythe Valley Park, plus Fore Business Park and Mell Square Shopping Centre, in Solihull. At Blythe Valley Park he has driven forward the existing assets via proactive asset management initiatives such as refurbishment projects, lease surrenders and new lettings. Rob also works closely with the Development team on the wider master planning and marketing & events initiatives that IM have implemented at the park to elevate it to one of the UK premier business parks. At Mell Square, a 730,000 sq ft mixed use retail scheme in the centre of Solihull, Rob has delivered new developments for Carluccio’s and Poundland, whilst also improving the retail offer with new lettings, retaining existing occupiers and other asset management initiatives.
Harry joined IM Properties in 2013 and is responsible for identifying viable development opportunities which meet the criteria of fitting into IM Properties’ ever expanding investment portfolio. Sitting within the Investment team and working closely with IM Properties’ Residential Capital Markets team and IM Land, Harry's primary focus is on the ‘alternative’ sectors across the UK. Harry is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
Lewis joined IM in February 2012 and has overseen the development of key assets for the business such as Blythe Valley Park, Fore Business Park and Solihull Business Park. Lewis is responsible for the commercial development function of the business and has played an instrumental role in developing facilities for occupiers such as John Lewis Partnership, Prologis, Rybrook Cars and Screwfix. He has a broad range of experience enabling him to manage projects right through the development process from inception to delivery.
Richard has more than 15 years’ experience working for some of the UK’s leading residential developers building throughout the country and has been responsible for the technical department functions of site acquisition, delivery, regulations and planning for small and largescale developments. He joined IM Land at the start of 2016 and with his residential developer delivery background, he ensures buildability of layouts is assessed at all stages. Within the team, Richard oversees the technical appraisal and delivery of projects to help maximise value and speed of delivery in the design and legal aspects of the development.
Sarah joined IM Land in July 2016, with over 19 years’ experience of working in Strategic Land for a national Housebuilder, identifying, promoting and obtaining planning consents for residential led development proposals. Sarah is a qualified Planner, with her role as Senior Strategic Planning Manager, focussing on initial site assessment through to promotional strategy and project management, in order to secure site allocations in Local Plans and obtain planning consents. Current IM Land Projects range from progressing the RM planning applications and discharge of conditions for 750 dwellings, consented at Watery Lane, Lichfield and the development of promotional strategy and project management of key greenfield residential led strategic sites in South Gloucestershire and Leicestershire, in order to capitalise on the benefits of sustainable growth locations to meet strategic and local housing needs.
Iain McArthur has 20 years’ experience working in the Residential Development Sector for Cushman & Wakefield (formally known as DTZ), Colliers International and McCarthy and Stone Retirement Living as Regional Land Director. Iain headed up the Residential Development and Land Agency teams at both Colliers and DTZ responsible for residential land acquisitions and disposals, consultancy, financial viability assessments and valuations. Iain joined IM Properties in 2018 and with his residential land acquisition and land agency background, he is responsible for identifying viable development opportunities to deliver Build to Rent/PRS developments. Iain is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
IM Properties established a US presence in 2007, on a primarily investment led platform which capitalised on falling Real Estate pricing in the run up to the Global Financial Crisis. By 2010 this had evolved into the development of Supermarket assets - funded off balance sheet - at a time when traditional sources of construction finance were still unable to underwrite such opportunities. Having developed the business and its reputation mainly across the Chicago region, Robert relocated from his Florida base to the city and set up IM's new US HQ in 2015. Come 2017, IM had delivered 1.5 million square feet if retail and mixed use development with an end value of $600m.
Anne joins Robert in our Chicago office handling Lease Administration for The Corners of Brookfield, our Corporate and Project insurance portfolios, and Human Resources for IM USA. Previously, Anne worked in financial services within the UK banking and accountancy sectors, including Lloyds Bank and KPMG.
Debbie joined the team at IM Properties in April 2015, a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience within the construction industry, Debbie manages the development reporting process for the business and acts as a key business partner.
Kathryn joined IM Land in January 2018 as a Land and Planning Manager, having previously worked in Cushman & Wakefield's planning and development consultancy team on a range of large-scale residential and commercial schemes. She is a Chartered Surveyor and will also train to become a Chartered Town Planner. Within the team, Kathryn will be managing portfolio sites and the acquisition of new strategic opportunities.
Thomas joined IM Land at the start of 2018 after having worked most recently for a civil engineering practice where he was primarily responsible for assisting with the development of residential and commercial engineering designs as well as seeing through a multitude of section agreements (S38, 278, 104 106)in liaison with stakeholders on behalf of the companies developer clients. As a Technical Coordinator, Thomas will be involved in determining the technical viability of potential projects and his civil engineering background will enable him to review all aspects of site delivery from a technical point of view, in addition to being responsible for the delivery of infrastructure where required.
Matt joined IM Properties in September 2017 after working for a short time as a consultant. He leads the finance team for the USA group, and is responsible for all elements of the US finance function. Matt has had a long career with several Chicago-area real estate firms in both financial and commercial roles.
Ross Evans has 27 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry, most latterly working for Spitfire Bespoke Homes, part of the IM Group, delivering Build to Rent/PRS developments including Newhall Square in Birmingham and Cardiff Capital Quarter. Prior to joining the IM Group in April 2017, Ross headed up the Gleeds Birmingham Office where he was responsible for multiple sectors including multi-disciplinary service delivery primarily focussing on Cost Management, Project Management and Building Surveying. As an equity partner at Locus Consultants Limited, Ross was instrumental in growing the business in the residential, retail and leisure sector, with offices located in Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, prior to Locus merging with Gleeds in 2009. Ross is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
Richard joined IM Properties in November 2013 and has 20 years’ experience working in the in the logistics and industrial market. He is a senior member of the of the industrial / logistics development team and his principle role is to secure transactions with occupiers and land owners and promote industrial / distribution development sites. Most recently Richard has secured a number of pre-let / pre-sale transactions with established names such as DPD, TNT and led the transactional element of the relocation of the Birmingham Wholesale Market to a bespoke 240,00 sqft facility in Birmingham.
Prior to joining IM, Richard was a Director at Colliers International for nearly 16 years where he acted as advisor/agent on a number of the Midlands major industrial / distribution parks.
Georgia joined IM Land in July 2019 as a Graduate Land Buyer shortly following the completion of her Law degree. Georgia assists the Land team with existing Portfolio Sites as well as helping to research and assess prospective sites and source new land opportunities.
Sinead joins the team as Development Manager, previously working at Arcadis as a Senior Planning Consultant, pursuing planning consent for private land owners, developers and public bodies. Sinead has largely focussed on the redevelopment of urban brownfield land to deliver major mixed use, residential led schemes, having secured consent for around 3000 units in Birmingham over the past three years.
Sinead has recently been responsible for working alongside Birmingham City Council and Homes England to secure detailed planning consent for the Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, delivering 1,400 residential units and 13,000 sqft of commercial space, as well as working on the wider regeneration programme and vision for Perry Barr.
David joined in 2007 from a portfolio management role at TUI UK in Coventry. David is responsible for asset managing a substantial range of properties across the UK to include out of town retail schemes in Worcester and Hayle, offices in Capability Green Luton and distribution units in Rugby, Enfield and Hams Hall. David is also responsible for asset managing IM Properties’ two principal industrial development sites at The Hub in Birmingham and Birch Coppice in Dordon in conjunction with the development team.
Andrew joined the team at IM Properties in April 2016 and has almost 30 years’ experience working on major warehousing and distribution sites. He is working on of some of the company’s high profile developments such as the sites at J9 of the M42 near Curdworth, Towcester, Birmingham The Hub and Stratford.
Before joining IM Properties, Andrew was previously a partner at an independent property and construction practice, Rider Levett Bucknall and had worked alongside IMP for many years on some of the company’s biggest Midlands based projects.
Majella joined IM Properties in December 2014. She is involved with the delivery of some of the company’s high profile developments such as Mell Square Shopping Centre in Solihull town centre, Blythe Valley Park and Fore Business Park along the M42 corridor and The Hub in Birmingham. Majella previously worked at Turner and Townsend and Castlemore Securities, and has been involved in a number of significant development projects such as Temple Quay and the Glass Wharf developments in Bristol along with 40 Holborn Viaduct in Central London.
David joined in January 2017 to take oversight of the strategic promotion of IM Properties' existing and emerging commercial land bank, a key part of which is developing and sustaining key stakeholder relationships. David has 15 years of experience in the industrial sector, having advised landowners, the country’s leading developers and occupiers alike. He sits on the British Property Federation’s ‘Industrial Committee’, promoting the sectors economic contribution to UK Plc. David is leading the planning promotion of in excess of 12msqft of industrial/logistics and commercial floorspace across the West Midlands, East Midlands, and the M1 corridor.
Daniel joined IM Properties in 2013. He is tasked and responsible for delivering developments in all commercial property sectors. Daniel is currently working on largescale warehousing and distribution development in Birmingham and its surrounds, having previously completed industrial schemes in Edinburgh, Nottingham, Solihull and Tamworth. Whilst working at IM Properties, Daniel has also been responsible for the successful delivery of IM Properties retail developments and more recently the delivery of Grade A offices at 55 Colmore Row, located in Birmingham’s central business district.
Prior to joining IM, Daniel amassed 15 years commercial property experience at Colliers International representing landlords and occupiers in all commercial property sectors.
Richard joined IM Properties in February 2015 from JLL in Birmingham. Qualified as both a surveyor and town planner, Richard has broad experience in both commercial and industrial projects and has worked on a variety of mixed use schemes. He has been involved in sourcing, securing and bringing forward new commercial development opportunities as well as the leasing, letting and transaction of commercial space. Richard was involved with securing a 25 year pre-let to Lidl at IM Properties’ Bromsgrove Retail Park as well as the disposal of a former IM Group facility in Gloucester.
Rebecca joined IM Properties in September 2015 as a Project Manager. Rebecca joined the team having previously worked at DBK and Turner & Townsend on a variety of projects for both commercial developers and Universities. Rebecca has been involved in the successful delivery of St Alphege Place, Solihull, and numerous projects at Blythe Valley Park including the refurbishments of One Central Boulevard and Trigen House, the newly constructed technical workshop for Rybrook and 600-space surface car park.
Rachael joined IM Properties in January 2014. Rachael has been involved in developing over 540,000 sq ft of industrial and distribution space. Her main role within the development team is the letting of both design and build and speculative development space; she has secured lettings to Argos Ltd at The Hub in Birmingham, the UK’s first ‘Electricity Cost Neutral Building’, as well as HiB Ltd and Solar Nonwovens at Birch Coppice Business Park. Rachael is responsible for the 209,000 sq ft 5 unit industrial and distribution speculative scheme ‘Connexion’ at Blythe Valley Park.
Sharon is the Office Manager and also provides business support to the company. She is also a key member of the investment team, responsible for overseeing insurance, maintaining the property database, providing internal and external property reporting and general administrative support.
Kerry joined IM Properties in August 2018 as Executive Assistant providing general administrative and project specific support to both the Development and Land teams. Kerry is also the Social Value Coordinator responsible for supporting with the development of our Social Value delivery, working primarily with schools and community organisations.
Jessica joined IMP in April 2019 as an Administrative Assistant, having just moved from Nottinghamshire where she worked in admin for a local district council. She now supports all members of the Development and IM Land teams and Kerry Amory with Social Value Co-ordination admin.
Lyndsey joined IM Properties in June 2014 and is responsible for all marketing, PR, promotional activities and events across the Properties portfolio. Lyndsey oversees both project specific and corporate marketing for the business and works across all departments on a variety of commercial and industrial schemes.
Emily joined IM Properties in April 2016 as an Administration Assistant. Since then Emily’s role has developed, and she now works as a Marketing Assistant supporting Lyndsey Thomas with marketing activities across a range of commercial and industrial schemes. Emily assists with the organisation of events, as well as analysing and reporting on PR activity alongside wider business and project specific marketing campaigns.
Tom joined IM USA in 2018, bringing his 38 years of experience in real estate development to the team. Tom’s broad and diverse professional experience was gained across all major asset classes, with leading firms in Chicago, plus a period working as an independent consultant. He has successfully delivered 320 projects totaling over 28 million square feet valued in excess of $2.5 Billion. He is recognized within the Chicago real estate and construction community for his ingenuity, professionalism and market expertise
Ashton joined IM Properties in February of 2017. She came to IM with experience in property accounting for oil and gas assets as well as a few years of tax work for real estate clients. Currently, she oversees the accounting for Brookfield Corners LLC as well as the other U.S. assets.
Kimberley joined IM Properties in May 2017 and is responsible for overseeing the Chicago office daily functions as well as assisting with marketing at The Corners. Previously Kimberley was the office manager and executive assistant at Bradford Real Estate where she oversaw Bradford’s office operations as well as worked closely with Bradford’s principals in real estate acquisitions, marketing and development.
