Hinckley Park offers bespoke solutions for occupiers

Bespoke buildings of up to 450,000 sq ft are available at IM Properties’ 82-acre Hinckley Park scheme on junction 1, M69, following the successful disposal of nearly 900,000 sq ft to two leading international businesses.

Richard Lawrence, development director at IM Properties says Hinckley Park’s strategic location has been central to its success and initially prompted the company’s investment in a speculatively built  532,000 sq ft unit on the site now let to a global online retailer.

Also home to DPD’s £150 million super-hub, which has become Europe’s largest automated parcel depot, the remaining 18-acre site alongside is now being marketed and is reserved for B1, light industrial and B2, general industrial uses.

Lawrence said,

“Being on the border of the East and West Midlands, the employment park has access to a wide skilled labour force, which was one of the key deciding factors for the major distribution hubs currently on site and one of the reasons DPD located a second hub in the area.

“The scheme is also centrally positioned to benefit from the Midland’s supply chain, with easy and quick access to a number of the UK’s major car manufacturing plants, making it ideal for creating bespoke facilities for suppliers operating just in time deliveries.”

Hinckley Park adjacent to J1, M69 is just a short drive from Leicester and Coventry and close to air and rail hubs including BIFT and Hams Hall Railports.

Lawrence continued,

“We have worked well in partnership with the local council and Winvic Construction Ltd and nearby colleges  and schools to help further employment and skills in the area through the construction process. We could be delighted to help bring further jobs through businesses expanding and relocating into the 450,000 sq ft of  design and build opportunities at Hinckley Park.”

IM Properties will be delivering a number of sustainable transport solutions to help labour access the scheme, including a regular bus service to the site and new footways and cycle paths from nearby Hinckley and Burbage.

IM Properties is represented by local agents Wells McFarlane and CBRE and Avison Young. Further information is also available at https://hinckleypark.co.uk/.
