IM Properties (IMP) has signed up Bloor Homes to deliver 170 new homes on its Blythe Valley Park (BVP) scheme near Junction 4 of the M42.
A reserved matters application will now be submitted detailing plans for the development, which represents the first phase of 750 homes granted outline consent in 2017.
IMP and Bloor Homes have worked closely with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council in preparing their detailed plans for the proposed development.
Bloor Homes is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned housebuilding groups and has a successful track record in delivering high quality residential developments across the country.
IMP believes Bloor Homes is well placed to assist in its vision for BVP, creating a sustainable new community and one of the first truly mixed-use schemes in the Midlands, breaking the mould for business parks in the region to include commercial, leisure and residential uses.
Bloor Homes is proposing a mix of 1,2,3 and 4-bedroom homes with public open spaces and play opportunities for children, utilising the 122 acres of country park surrounding the BVP scheme which already includes a nature trail, to create a rich and diverse environment for all to thrive in and enjoy.

IMP has invested significantly in BVP over the past 12 months to create a strong amenity offering including a new independent coffee shop, Java Lounge. This adds to the Virgin Active Health and Busy Bees nursery already established at the park with further landscaping, public realm, recreational and retail facilities planned over the course of the development.
IMP is also delivering the first speculatively built offices and commercial space on the M42 in a decade. This includes a 15,000 sq ft office building (FIRST) due to complete in May this year, and Connexion, a 209,000 sq ft campus of high quality logistics and manufacturing space across five buildings, available in the summer.
The investment reflects IMP’s confidence in its strategic vision for the park, which is already home to a wide array of blue-chip occupiers; including Gymshark, Infor, PKF Cooper Parry, Siemens and Zenith.
