Since its formation in 1987 IM Properties has established its position as an investor and developer with both those disciplines consistently achieving outstanding results and financial returns.

Anticipating market trends together with the means to swiftly match funding with opportunities has given the company’s investment team the ability to maintain a high quality portfolio and achieve sustained capital growth. The decision to widen the horizon to include mainland Europe has delivered several proactive acquisitions in France and Germany.

The company’s development arm continues to build on its enviable reputation for award winning schemes and for achieving highly remunerative rental and freehold deals. A customer focused philosophy through the total process of building design, construction, landscaping, environment and estate management has attracted many blue chip covenants.

In 2009 the company achieved profits of £23.5 million before tax.  Property assets and cash balances remained virtually unchanged at £519 million and £67 million respectively.

In the current year with the further diversification into Europe and the USA, positive cash flow and improved liquidity underlines the financial wellbeing of the company.  It will also enable the company to continue to react swiftly to investment and development opportunities ahead of the market.
